I googled tom malmquist and found this harrowing story is all truehow his partner karin was suddenly taken seriously ill and their baby livia was delivered by caesarian one and a half months earlybefore karin sadly died

I did find it strange in the book though that tom was so angry when an intensive care nurse shut him out of karins room and stole time from us when it was its most important when tom would not let karins own parents in to see her
