The inside has this soft lining that will protect your device from scratches especially if the device screen is exposed such as a surface pro device

One thing to note is that the fit is very snug therefore it will not allow other items apart from the device intended to be stored

The way the flap that secures the sleeve opens and closes is through a velcro attachment
