Not a good idea to place the charger in the side pocket thats asking for a dented casing but thats true of mostall laptop carrying cases

I would have preferred the opening to be larger going along the top instead of the side but it doesnt make it hard to put my macbook in the bag or take it out again so its not really a big issue

I would have liked a crumpler hard suit as i had for my olf mac but its no longer made so i started tolook for an alternative

What i will say is that i dont think the pocket on the front is particularly suitable for a power adapter the mac one will fit but the uk plug is very bulky and looks very unsightly
