    I wind up using this more frequently than i thought i would even at home and i originally wanted it for when i travel on a plane with my wife and we want to watch an ipad or tablet movie together and both listen to it with earbuds from the same tablet

    The audio is exactly the same out of either port i switched ports to verify this since one of my headsets was distinctly louder than the other but it made no difference which port was being used the loudest headset was always the loudest headset

    The cable is rugged and rubberized there is strain relief on all cable connections the cable joint is contained in a strong rubber mold and the female jacks and male plug are all rigidly housed in strong plastic covers
