Pros

The transfer speed is fast. Gen 2 ports (10 mbps). Gen 2 + usb 2, thus providing backward compatibility. No connectivity issues.

Usb extender for my wife's laptop. Attached an external mouse, booted from usb flash drive, and stored/recovered backups from self powered usb 3 storage devices. Double sided velcro tape assures it won't move around.

Until legacy usb-a devices are completely swapped over to usb-c, this is a must-have and easy recommend. The design is sleek and looks good. It was packaged in a small cardboard box.

Cons

Inateck usb hub is too finnicky for me.

The speed is not as fast as advertised, but the compatibility is an issue. This creates an audible clicking sound which sounds more like a snapping it is so loud.

Had an extra long cord and was real thin so i stuck it on the back of my laptop to keep all the wires out of sight.
