Knocking off a star because the cable it came with was defective and caused intermittent disconnectsusb controller crashes which is a shame because i could use an extra cable of this length

I ordered it to read several ide hard drives taken from my older computers

If you do experience problems with an older hard drive its more likely the drive that is causing the concern not this interface

It looks more solidsturdy in the pictures but once i had got my hands on it it appeared to be made of cheaper plastic maybe just my feeling
