The product works as expected, the speeds are above average but even with usap it doesnt use the full power of usb 3.

I have two sata disks plugged into the inateck and wired up by usb to my laptop.

Worked very reliably with an odroid hc 2 and a couple of 2.
It seemed to work very well and cloned a 4tb disc in a couple of hours.

The only thing you need is software if you want to have all the new disc space usable otherwise it is the same as the one you are copying from

There is software on the market that claims to clone drives and ive tried most of them with little success unless the drives are identical in capacity

The big problem is that ssds are slightly smaller than standard cheaper backup drives and none of the software ive used has succesfully cloned to a smaller drive
