Pros
Both items have reflective trim that is all the rage now. However with the price point it’s worth it. All of this is a mild complaint – if it could be registered as such.
This fits if you like a snug fit! The xxl fit perfectly. Room to move and snug around the waist.
Being this lightweight in the coldest of cold is simply a marvel of engineering. It's light enough to not impede my movement much, if at all. Very warm and lightweight.
There is windblock on the front and arms, and the back has a more breathable fleece. There’s even something on inside back hem to keep the jacket from riding up. It provides enough room to layer a baselayer and a sweatshirt underneath.
Jacket is not baggy on me and fills the gap between baggy and sung. The zippered pockets are also very nice. One thing i do with all of my gear with zippers, is i give them a good coat of silicone.
Cons
The sizing is not as listed in the product description. The ratio of width to arm length is also disproportionate. The jacket itself is fine, but the zipper is of very low quality.

The quality is amazing for the price and the fit is good (for men).
Top notch quality at a decent price.
However with the price point it’s worth it.
While i could tell it helped with the wind chill, having base layers underneath is a must.
Price
Most comparable cycling jackets cost 3,4 times as much.
Competitiveness
I wore a sweat-wicking t-shirt plus the jacket.
Definitely recommend this for your hubby’s or even if you go skiing worth it.
I might amend the following review as i wear it in early 2021, but either way:pro: it's inexpensive relative to the competition.

All that said wearing more reflective gear in addition to what this jacket has to offer would be the safest way to go yet i think thats farreaching for a review of the jacket itself
