Pros
Inkbird t-stat works as a direct replacement for many refrigerator/freezers. Plug the freezer or fridge into the cooling plug and a heater into the other. Inkbird takes care of maintaining the temp.
It was packaged well and appeared to be well constructed for such a low price. The unit's performance exceeds its modest cost. These controllers are very inexpensive.

The screw clamp connectors are great. Follow the colored diagram on the faqs sheet included with the product.
Cons
Out of the box the rear protective cover screw head was completely striped out. Err warning and locked on. Ended with a flickering screen.
Only going to try one incubator this time. But it cannot be programed that way. Used for an incubator, worked as expected 2 weeks, malfunctioned and cooked all my eggs to 170 degrees. More frozen kegs and a frozen water pump.
Chinese junk. Crapped out. Not dependable at all.

The temperature control was precise and the device is plenty durable.
The screen dims, relays click repeatedly, and after a few quick cycles cuts off power and waits for a reset.
The boiler overheats the water, causing the over temp breaker to trip.

Overall, it's a great thermostat for a great price.
Shipping
I am using an amazon plug to schedule day time only operation for this unit to control my hot water recirculation pump.
Competitiveness
Compared to a thermoworks type k thermocouple, the inkbird temperature is accurate.
Setting the hysteresis and compressor rest delay were much easier than other similar controllers.
I just followed the wiring diagram from the carel controller and matched it up to the inkbird.
