This device monitors the water temp and powers the heaters. It survives power outages like a champ and always remembers its settings. This massively prolongs the life of the heater and also guards against overheating.

The instructions aren't exactly clear, but they begin to make sense once you start fiddling with things. Tuning it for the first time takes some patience. The instructions are fairly clear and in 10 minutes i had a refrigerator for my beer and stuff.

The meat thermometer is greatly off. I have to continuously futz with the desired rh and the delta settings to try to get it to produce the correct humidity. The max temp range for this yeast is 86f.
