Pros & Cons
Pros
They're a little lighter than the og snes controllers, but the * are solid and play well. Sure beats relying on a keyboard to play classic snes games.
Very impressed with this - especially at this price point. It's cheap, but well-made. Good quality plastic.
Cons
The d-pad needs to be pressed really hard to work. The warranty is probably a scam.
For me, is a dealbreaker. Even for $5. I've been deceived. Like the old adage goes, you get what you pay for.

Never had issues with the dpad nor the start, select, l or r buttons.
For the price, they are not terrible per say but there is one major major flaw.

Price
It’s definitely above average especially at this price.

Competitiveness
These controllers are a little more clicky than the real controller but for the price, they cannot be beat.
I bought these for my retropie setup, and they work great.

If you are constantly pushing buttons rapidly or holding down either the a b x or y buttons down dont be surprised to find that the springs inside the controller stops functioning to pop the button back into place

In my opinion all controller pads cords should be 6 feet by default
