My one takeaway is the usable screen. The only thing i didn't like is the image sharpness. The bezels are thin and the whole thing looks sleek.
Colors pop but are a bit oversaturated. Xbox has an option where you're able to adjust the brightness on contrasts/brights. When turning on hdr (10-bit color) in your os, don't forget to also turn it on in the game settings menu on the monitor.
For the regular, everyday gamer, this works nicely. Perfect for his gaming needs and his school needs. Fps shooter games feels great buttery smooth, followed by responsive and excellent refresh rates.
The monitor is powered by a 12v, 3a, 36w power brick. There is a single on/off/menu button that works well enough. The joystick module is odd-feeling but innovative and it does work.
Cons

The one near the center of the screen is very distracting as a gamer. Display port supports 240hz, hdmi will only push 144.
No amount of cable swapping or device swapping has fixed it. Theowners manual is flimsy, not much help.

Disappointed to find out this monitor is actually a va panel and not an ips, as advertised.
Price
For 1440p and g-sync it's priced appropriately.
This is the trade off for saving $300+ on a 4k monitor.
Not a bad monitor for the price.
Shipping
Giving it a 5 star because it came 4 days late.
Packaging/appearance
Out of the box it comes with a really beefy stand that i chose not to use.
The packaging it came in was completely in tact when i received it and it was very easy to set up.
The box comes with a calibration document but i'm not sure if it's fully accurate.
Competitiveness
For the price, competitors, and what the page advertises, the product is disappointing.
I'm sure there are better monitors out there but i was too cheap to look since i got this at a discount.
This monitor was not priced as much as competitors in the same size bracket.
I don't know of a single monitor in this price range that could beat the 27g1s plus.
