Pros & Cons
Pros
The wire solders easily. They also fill like the will continue after many times removing and reinstalling. Arrived promptly and labeled as appropriate.
Quality strippers remove the insulation cleanly. Copper strands twist and tin nicely for connectivity.
Wired speakers for home stereo. Speaker wire is an antenna so going heavier gauge is not better for runs under 30 feet in most cases. Extra copper over the smaller gauges allows for more responsiveness.
Cons
Their 12 gauge is not 12 awg, npt even close. Minimal shielding may lead to interference. Just separating the wires and not even one inch down and bam the insulation tears open.
It's a sad shame when we have to pay such a price for products. Is this the point? It’s really annoying and time consuming.
Nothing more than the old school zip/lamp cord. Nothing measures items that inaccurately- humans, machines.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality wire with the correct gauge.
I really appreciate the quality of this speaker wire.
This coating almost feels like it was covered in powder and just glides through tight spots in my truck without rubbing and getting stuck.
It's on the thicker size and the cheap squeeze crimps didn't fit the wire due to the thickness.
Price
The value for the money is truly exceptional.
True ofc and has more than enough, now bumping through these streets like a bo$$!
High cost cables are mostly a waste of money.

Competitiveness
In my opinion, what really differentiates installgear from competitors is the composition of its jacket.
Jay's audiolab on youtube just compared this cable to a $20,000 plus speaker cable with two seasoned audiophiles in a blind test.

Both of the audiophiles chose this cheaper 27 speaker cable

It has a good feel but i am concerned that the soft touch stuff may break down eventually as is usually the case with 34tacktile34 plastics

But that breakdown might be years away

It is easy to have the jackets split incorrectly when separating the pairs

So use caution and a sharp razor and go slow

Otherwise the jacket from one will split and leave chunks on the other

But this does appear to be solid copper strands which for this price is good

I dont really hear much difference but this cable with cheap banana plugs and extra shrink wrap look better and make for easier connecting
