Pros

Seems to actually be its rated gauge unlike some cables available online. I am not an expert but it is the best speaker wire that i've ever used.

Arrived promptly and labeled as appropriate. Copper stands are very fine in gauge and make a mess when trimmed off.

Cons

The 12 gauge is not 12 awg, npt even close. Minimal shielding may lead to interference.

It’s really annoying and time consuming. Big disappointment. It is indicative of intentional shotrage.

Nothing more than the old school zip/lamp cord. Nothing measures items that inaccurately- humans, machines.

I am very happy with the flexibility of the 12 gauge wire and it fits perfectly snug into these good quality banana plugs.

This coating almost feels like it was covered in powder and just glides through tight spots in my truck without rubbing and getting stuck.

This wire is not "junk", it is a high quality copper wire with a nice flexible insulation that is easy to strip andwork with.

Packaging/appearance

Comes packaged as a wire pair for the phase and return of the speakers, the + and - wires are color coded, and easy to see which is which.

Competitiveness

Certainly better than the copper wrapped aluminum options that are being sold on amazon.

In my opinion, what really differentiates installgear from competitors is the composition of its jacket.

If you run wiring inside a wall, consider paying more, and use similar wire that is in-wall rated.
