It has four feet that keep it up off the bottom of the instantpot and away from the simmering water. Being silicone, it fits snug and seals well. The lid is a perfect fit for my 6 qt instant pot.

The steamer basket holds more food than the old metal streamer did. It's dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The price is good for such a useful kitchen tool. The pros outweigh the cons.

It’s slightly too small and keeps piping off. The glass lid fits fine, that silicone lid does not, evidently it is not an 8qt lid. It's too small for the 3 quart liner pot.

It's embarrassing to admit you've been whooped by a little round silicone thing. But it is worthless. At least they’re cheap.
