Pros
This replaces an older pot that is no longer funtioning. The steam release valve on the version 5 pot has a separate switch to release the pressure and a round valve that releases steam upward.
Cons
It's completely unacceptable that this pressure cooker refuses to cook. The vegetables remain overcooked.
Buy a ninja. It really pains me to write a bad review for this product because i have loved my instant pots. All my friends have problems with theirs.

The actual instant pot box was ripped in numerous areas and had been retapped. It looks like it was crushed. Very complicated to use.

Notice the pressure release valve does not have the pointer as pictured in description by seller
