Pros

This is really easy and so much safer to use. It is very versatile. Overall, i'm pretty satisfied but probably could have spent less on a cheaper model that would work just as well. It's like a friend you never knew you needed.

The instant pot is not only durable, but pretty. The outside stainless steel skin and control panel and not only functional, but pleasing to the eye. Does cook food quickly. Made a prime rib using the sous vide setting.

Cons

The lid to my instant pot has got stuck 3 times. Inside the pressure release valve is a tiny little opaque/white/plastic part that fits inside the black pressure valve. You have to disassemble the lid completely to put it back and it happens enough th... Read More

They insist someone is reviewing our case; it is a cut and dry situation. Instant pot says they will replace; but it is on backorder.

This error code indicates that i’m using the wrong interior pot. Some people experienced this problem immediately, while some used it for a few weeks before getting the error.

I have been using it for all kinds of random things and am extremely happy with it's performance.

No issues with product it works perfectly.

The sauté function is a nice start and then finish it off with the pressure to cook fast and tenderize the meat.

If i had to have just one appliance in my kitchen (no range, no microwave) it would be the ip.

Competitiveness

I have used my instantpot for about 6 months now.

This model instantpot only has a low and high setting, no medium, although i don't know if other models have medium settings either.

This model was rather pricey and not sure if it's any better than any of the other models.

Looking up & trying new receipes weekly.
