Pros
Lid looks sturdy and provides an air tight seal. Cooker comes with a rubber seal ( a clear one already fitted). The experience is really satisfying, the cooking process is very quiet, not as loud as an old-fashioned pressure cooker.
It's quite large - rounded to the nearest whole number it's 38 x 34 x 36 cms - and not exactly light, either, tipping the scales at 7. Kg. It is a very well made appliance and its good looking steel and black finish looks great in my kitchen.
The instapot is easy to use and intuitive to use. Great for batch cooking and can be used to free up hob space. Can be used as a stand in for a hob if you don't have time to use a hob.
Lcd display is clear and straightforward, so that even a beginner like myself can understand it. All these things are controllable with its innovative lcd display. However, that being said, this is a great pc.
Cons
The user instructions are dreadful, so confusing that we don't really know what we are supposed to do and when.
Highlights
Quality
Adjusting the water/liquid level for certain dishes is a bit if trial and error when pressure cooking but we're happy with the results.
I haven't tried all features at the time of writing, but am delighted with the results of the meals i've made so far.
The build quality is fantastic, i could instantly tell it was a well made product.
Likewise, slow cooking, which i love, is simple conducted with the unit.
Packaging/appearance
Cod loins came out alright, and minus the smell because it is sealed in the pot whilst cooking, so that's a bonus also!
