Steam release valvequick release valve machine counting updownonce you select your cooking method and time the ip will take a few seconds and then show on while the pot is pressurising while it is pressurising it will make noise and have a little steam coming out the steam release valve big black valve and a little out of the float valve i mention this because i was scared there was something wrong with it or that i had to push down or pull up the quick release valve you dont have to do any of that the machine automatically does it
