Pros
Different parts of the meal can be layered and cooked at the same time. Cooks large volumes of dal lentils from raw/hard in 15mins, its literally amazing. Cannot recommend it enough enough curry lovers.
Happy to join the legions of instant pot lovers. Love it. Couldn't be without my ip.
It works as expected. Fuss free and easy to clean. The learning curve is fast & forgiving where button pressing is concerned. I love that it has a stainless steal bowl.
Saves a lot of time to get great results without having to stand over the stovetop or have the oven on. Cast metal sitting outward of the inner pot acts as a pretty good heat sink.
Cons
It has lots of functions, but doesn't deliver any of them well. As a rice cooker, the rice is usually undercooked or a gloopy mess. Troubleshooting methods are useless, much like the instant pot.
