Pros

I'm using it for caning, it only holds 4-pint jars, but that's fine for me. The pot itself is fantastic but i erred in purchasing the 3-quart.

One misconception people have is that the cooking in an instant pot is faster than the regular pressure cookers. Food also comes out much more tender than when using a microwave. Just wish the cook timer could be set longer than four hours.

Cons

It only operates on teow high pressure or slow cook. There was no cooking pot inside the unit. Meatballswere almost raw after 4 hours.

The fuses keep blowing and it dies. Power cord seems to have melted out. Instant pot's tech support is completely useless.
