Pros

Cast iron with enamel coating. This dutch oven solves those problems as it can keep the temp at food safe temps for hours.

The meat is tender and browned all the way around. I can brown my meat with the braise setting without putting the crock on the stove. The sear i get on my roast before slow cooking is perfection!

This is a device i will be using often. It automatically shifts to stay warm after the cooking cycle. I like the ability to heat up ingredients, fry onions etc first and then switch to slow cooking mode.

To avoid rust just take a paper towel and rub some cooking oil onto the exposed iron after washing before putting it away. Cleanup is easy since the pot and lid are dishwasher safe. Cleans up easily.

This is one of the best kitchen gadgets i have ever purchased. I use it weekly and it is a workhorse in my kitchen. Please always be nearby while using this appliance.

Cons

If the heavy cream starts smelling i’ll be forced to rip out about 700 square foot of my floor and have it redone. I sent all information regardless how frivolous; they have yet to respond.
