Highlights
Quality
Replaced the mediatek card on my hp victus 16 with this wifi card as i would consistently have small latency issues in fps games.
This one does the job perfectly, pretty good speeds.
It comes with a rather weak realtek card that cuts out frequently, and after so much troubleshooting, it came down to the card ... Read More
After two weeks, i can confirm the stability problems are gone and the daily headaches of rz608 will never bother me again.
Price
For the price its not a big gamble but would not pay any more for one.
This card gives me a little over the 600mbps i am paying for.
Shipping
The product arrived on time and intact.
Fast forward to 2024 and my download speeds on wifi were 200-300kbps… yep.
Bought this wifi card because the one that shipped with my laptop was trash.
Packaging/appearance
The adapter was package in a plastic bag without any documentation.
Arrived packaged nicely in a plastic baggy inside of a corrugated cardboard box taped shut inside one of those amazon bags.
Seems good, arrived in a small anti-static packet, but was missing instillation screw.
Competitiveness
Amd, you can do so much better than putting your name on low grade mediatek chips.
Comparing this card to the rz608 that it replaced is child's play.
Make sure you get both the wifi and bluetooth drivers from the intel site ahead of time.
