The cpu uses the lga1150 socket, and came with its own heatsink. Good solid fast chip. Nice heat sink and fan.

Loved it, it suits all my needs, people say its not good, but from my perspective, i think its great for my first build :d
For this build the processor was only purchased because i need a processor.
Im using linux solus os because it's free and it's really lightweight making this celeron feel very snappy and fast.
Price
For this i am happy and for the price you can't beat it.
I have used it many times in computers as gifts because its performance is amazing at $ 43.
Kept my goal under $500 including monitor, mouse and keyboard.
With only 2 cores, this baby kicks @$$.
