If your upgrading a new computer or even an old one this one works great stay away from the broadcom units they fail quickly but this one works good in linux and windows or any os

It works splendidly with the toshiba bluetooth stack without having to enable test mode fiddle with inf files or fight a trial version of toshibas software

The lowpower bluetooth mode means i can leave my wiiu pro controller connected to my laptop for four days before the battery starts to get low on the controller
