Pros

Mb of level 2 cache really makes a difference. Single core performance is a little more exaggerated, as each core will have 100% scp.

I have an old gigabyte p35-ds3r motherboard that was built from 2007 with a core 2 duo processor. I also have an older maximus formula that was just shy of a trick to update. Checked the bios and looks fine.

Upgrade 2009 monster machine builders box. Added updated video, ram to 8 gigs. Keeps my 2nd computer purring like a kitten.

Cons

Will not buy cpus from here again. This is not true.
