I do also have an nvidia gtx 650ti, but only 4gbs of 1600mb ram, so i am very, very happy with the performance of this cpu.

Even with the stock heat sink, fan, and thermal paste it remains cool and manageable.

However, if you're building a budget rig you'll have no issues with this product.

I would however go with the i5 if you are doing editting or higher cpu demanding tasks.

If you're a gamer it's a great processor for the price.

I upgraded from a dual core 65w amd processor that worked great, but paled in comparison to the performance this processor gave me.

With my evga gtx 650 2gb video card and 8gb of 1600mhz ram any game is playable.
