Speed and capability wise it compares closely to my i52500k which i picked for a custom build 2 12 years ago so the specs are only getting better even on the lower class intel chips

It works so well in the nas managing 12tb of disk that it would almost certainly be fine for anyone not doing intensive work like video editing or heavy gaming

It was very loud with its stock intel fan and would put out enough heat to make a room many degrees above ambient even when just doing medium load work

Though it still wasnt great for gaming the integrated graphics just wasnt powerful enough to have any good experience

Thus it was pretty unplanned and i would have gotten different components and even waited so i could have used more money
