It's worlds apart from my (6+yrs) old 4690k and z97 board. Great cpu,does great job.

Getting a gen 3 with 3000mb/s should be plenty of speed for everyone) and the motherboard cost is higher respect amd.
Price was cheaper than last few gens of intel due to ryzen zen upgrades just shame they too or unobtainable.
Competitiveness
I haven't overclocked this one yet as i like to give the system and arctic mx5 thermal paste time to settle.

You will need to update the firmware on the gpu not a driver update a firmware update which can easily be figured out by a google search

I paid 300£ its getting down to 270£ and with the new generation coming to the price will be even lower which i great i understand that people are still looking to get an amd 5600x but i feel its too hyped up the fact that its not in stock makes it more wanted

I did not get the cpu i paid 300£ and didnt receive anything contacted amazon they helped me refunding me the amount now i am waiting for the new 590 motherboard and the price to get down so i can get a better deal
