    Just because it doesn’t have a k and they put a c there instead does not mean it is locked it is a fully unlocked chip and you can overclock it

    Now i would not pay more than about 400 for this cpu and in reality if it does cost more than that just go with an 8700k or a chip of similar caliber also if you have a 4790k i really wouldn’t advise upgrading to this chip because they really isn’t that much more performance over it
