In terms of build amd has fewer highlyrated mother boards available than intel at the same price point

Overall when finally working and optimized amd has better numbers per dollar but it seems from customer reviews that amd entails a more wobbly or trial and error intensive build experience than intel

If you dont choose to have or cant afford to have the time or patience to get that marginal performance difference that is so dependent on all the other hardware you choose down to your fan you may want to go with intel
