The original nic i ordered unbeknownest to both parties ended up being a 64bit pci/x card.

I had used pccop in the past and although it worked pretty well, the interface was nothing to email home about.

An incredible dual nic card for the price.

This is a great cheap network card.

Now, if their 10gbe card just came down in price :)

Competitiveness

Price was good, not much more than the cheapo realtek chipset controllers, and like i said, doesn't suck up a pci-e slot.

I even considered using a dremel tool to cut off that section of the card, but ultimately just put the card in a different server.
