Pros

This is a game changer. Its blazing fast and stays cool under the small heatsink provided with my gigabyte aorus b450 board. And that is after i left 500gib unallocated space as suggested in the comments to give space for caching.

Excellent drive for data storage. My old ssds after 5 and 7 years still running in my pentium and i3 pcs. Performance, compatibility and reliability are comparable for less money.

Cons

Save yourself the headache and get a better drive. Just died this morning with no warning or blue screen of death. I have a mac and a linux machine, but their special troubleshooting software only runs on windows.

2 ssd came in an intel box, installed and intel web site has very good tutorial, how to initialize and format it.

It did not work, so i had to use a different brand that did work.
