When it arrived it was cold as a brick it also holds cold very well if you want to use it as an ice pack and was only packaged in the cardboard amwzon box

It will get flagged for inspection at airports at least in the us because it has flaxseed instead of stuffing but an extra 30 second max check for one item at security is nothing really
