When it breaks, and it will, it will require soldiering. There is one thing i do wish for this system years down the road even if it increases cost by a good five to seven dollars.

Just typing this review makes me smile. It is so retro i can't put into words how stoked i am. Sure, some of it's just nostalgia, but these games were popular for a reason.
Games look and play like the originals. About the same as my original intellivision connected via rf-coax adaptor. If you like your colors simple and your pixels big this is the console for you.
Though i highly recommend minotaur, as a fps game it's certainly a tasty nugget in the collection. Minotaur is my favorite along with baseball. Dg version includes original baseball too.
Cons
Lack of overlays makes it very difficult to play a game that is keypad intensive. Only a few of the game control sliders are included. Some of these games require the overlay inserts.

I am basically giving this four stars because it is so nostalgic and i've had enough fun in one night to justify the entire cost.

Still, it should come with a time limit where it reminds you that you need sleep, water, and food periodically because it's too much fun.

Lets face it a dinner out with the wife and some drinks would run me this much and a few hours compared to the six hours straight i got out of playing every single game on this

The cables are all too short its very difficult to leave this in the av cabinet because you need to drag the console closer to you to use the controllers but the power and av cable are too short to do that so you end up sitting two feet in front of the tv
