Unlike the sports bands or most bands actually you have to slip it over your hand to put on your wrist and then tighten the velcro strap

This means that even if the velcro were to come undone it would be unlikely for the watch to slip off your arm unnoticed

Perhaps the only downside i see is that the velcro snaps are a tiny bit too thick but not thick enough to interfere with the operation

The color matches the picture onlinei got pinksand with the band material giving a bit of a lilac hue which i personally liked
