When i had my bathroom repainted i chose not to have to the wall holder put back in never worked right anyway so i looked for a free standing in white which are difficult to find anywhere

It is an open ended holder and yes it will fall off but there is a simple solution

If you are yanking it off roughly it will fall off the holder and the holder itself will topple over
