Pros

The pump works great in our case as we have direct sunlight over the majority of the day. The only thing we have had to replace is the pool pump.

Easy (like stupidly easy) setup and removal. The important thing is to follow the instructions.

Bought this on sale toward the end of the summer. Will definitely purchase their products again in the future. I want to share a detailed review for those who, like myself, are researching this product.

Cons

The inflatable tube has a leak in it that deflates the tube in less than 24 hours, which means it has to be re-inflated everyday. The steps are held up with plastic sleeves, no screws, so concerned about safety here.

It's was a good pool had it for a few years before it wore out!

Ignoring this could cause the pool to lean to one side when filled, as shown in the pictures.

For the money, this is a great pool.

For the money you cannot beat this pool.

You couldn’t ask for more for the value and it’s reasonable so treat your yourself and your kids.

I do wish these pools lasted longer but for the price i don't mind replacing them every few years.

Shipping

Pool delivered in great time and in excellent condition.

I called intex and with very little fuss they arranged to have a new pool delivered within a week.

It’s important to note that shipping issues are not the fault of the company that ships the item.

I was initially worried when i received the package as it had severe box damage from shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Pool was great, brand new and everything included in the box.

We are very pleased with the pool and accessories that came with it!

The only problem is, whoever delivered the box, set in front of my garage door in the pouring rain.

Competitiveness

If it wasn't for the "less than quality" air ring, i'd give this pool 5 stars.

Overall, i would not purchase this style again and i plan to replace it with a steel frame pool at 3 times the price.
