Pros & Cons
Pros
It's better suited to being towed behind a kayak or larger raft/zodiac style boat with a small engine as a cargo trailer/backseat type thing. I have a pond full of koi and this boat gave the boys a chance to sail over “dangerous seas and monster fish”... Read More
The challenger 2 is 3 lbs lighter and just as tough. Seems to be plenty stable, even in smaller swells. The ores are very sturdy and it easily fit myself at 150lbs.
Intex sells some aluminum oars for cheap that are included with their bigger boats(challenger 3) filled very quickly with park pumps. Airstop pvc sealant(available on amazon) comes with the oars.
Cons
No se puede llenar bien con las valvulas grandes, al retirar pompa se vacia. Customer service from the seller is horrible, very rude and arrogant. Very disappointed with our purchase.
Boat was shipped from nj to idaho and kept leaking out air. Tried to patch it and was floating down the salmon river in idaho. The rafts design makes it unusable to use for anything outside a home use.
Highlights
Quality
Sturdy, blows up fast with little effort with the handy pump included.
The ores are very sturdy and it easily fit myself at 150lbs and my 11yr old son at 100lbs.
I get about one-two years of hard use out of these before the seams start to fail and they can no longer be patched.
Got to very end of levy and was sucked back over the levy down an extreme current and 10 foot levy waterfall drop.
Price
I think for the money, it is well worth it.
Other than a un-uniform inflation shape this thing is great for the money.
Shipping
Took a while to process but once shipped had it in three days.
Packaging/appearance
I got it on the lake and was antsy (i dont like water i cant see through), and i felt safe!
Box was in tact and everything seems ok.
One of the oars was missing from package, but boat is sturdy.
Competitiveness
It's way better than the 300 boat i bought.
Intex sells some aluminum oars for cheap that are included with their bigger boats(challenger 3).

The holders for the oars are not usable at all
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The holders bend to much and it is nearly impossible to use the oars in those holders

My modification was using half of each oar and moving to the front of the raft and doing a sort of breast stroke

Only use this raft if the water is just barely moving
