Pros

The intex wall mount pool skimmer is amazing! It cleans the surface of the pool and * up all the bugs and debris. My pool is a bit lopsided and still works perfectly fine! The suction isn't strong but, it's steady.

Cons

The floating skimmer part is too buoyant so it won't let any water in. It just keeps flipping up out of the water allowing air to go through the hose into the pump. It is not compatable with oval tube pools such as bestway steelmax. That leaves your f... Read More

The walmart one is way better than this one. Intex is much better, at least they don't bust at the inner seems. See one of the top reviews for a solution using rope attached to a stake in the ground.

It was easy to install and is very durable and efficient.

It’s hard plastic, and even if it could close tight, common sense tells you plastic can’t hold metal without slipping.
