I found this out when attempting to reverse the direction of my raft by jabbing the paddle between rocks and using the leverage of my arm force to reverse and steer in a different direction opposing the water flow

    That snapped the plastic union

If you are breaking these paddles in open water well im sorry you are doing something very wrong

My intended use floating on the riverfirst impression lightweight aesthetically appealing but the package looked like it had been previously used returned

Also there were no instructions on how to connect the two paddles together for combined use but i kinda just figured it out by playing around with it

Difficulties attaching the drip rings i tried forcing the rings on but after a minute of trying i just gave up

It didn’t really matter for me anyway since i was using them for floating and would be wet regardless however i can see how it’d be a hassle to put on for kayakers who don’t want soggy hands
