Pros

This valve is great for shutting off the flow of water to do any filter maintenance. It can be used to change the filter on a hard piped pool or a hayward pump. The valve can also be used for a 1 1/2 pvc pipe.

Cons

Newer version has threads that don't fit the intex 1. They slip once it starts to get tight. No water seal because of this. Must be defective, returning this bad one for a replacement.
