Pros

Have used it all day on about 10 occasions. No holes no problems no fear anymore. Very pleased with our first season. Other than that and the color scheme its same boat as older model.

Great quality, stock slat floor is good for most applications. Easily patched and is holding well. Dragging a loaded boat across a portage is no big deal.

This inflatable is great. Easy to inflate/deflate and easy storage.

It is a sturdy pvc raft that i have modified into a registered and titled motor fishing boat. The raft is pretty sturdy and easy to set up with and without the electric pump.

Cons

Customer service is terrible. Poor quality workmanship. Poor warranty period, only 90 days. Had to go online and upload my receipt. Returning it tomorrow for a full refund.

Of the 4 main valves leak. Hard to find the leak because of the overlapping of pvc over the hard valve body. This raft is not for river use, or for any bodies of water where the bottom of the raft may come into contact with submerged rocks.

Very disappointed on intex. Will try some other brand. Disappointing, not a cheap purchase.

Loading on a flat bed truck proved to much for material and punctured sidewall. Since the boat was folded up the puncture made at least 8 different holes. In short, this boat is easily punctured.

This boat is very easily rowed. Since the floor is hollow, when the water gets in the boat it is very hard to get it all out without deflating the boat. My advice is spend twice the money and get a real inflatable.

It is worth every penny we spent and hope to enjoy for a number of years.

Great quality, way better than we thought especially for the $.

It does go on sale for ~$265 so if it's a bit pricier than that, just keep an eye out!

Bought this because i wanted a kayak but one that had all the features i wanted was nearly $500 so i decided to give this a try.

Shipping

They quickly started a warranty claim and shipped me a brand new boat.

I ordered the intex bimini but that never arrived.

It did get here a day late from the actual delivery date.

The issue i had was with shipping.

We packed a tent, camping gear, and clothing for two people into the raft.

We were very impressed when we opened it and used it.

Competitiveness

After looking at a lot of rafts out there, including bris and saturn, i ended up going with this intex mariner 4.

The raft itself is very sturdy for the price, far more so than my old challenger 3.

I just couldn't justify the cost of a bris, much less a saturn kaboat.

It's very similar, but the stiff floor makes it much heavier than the air raft floor i'm used to.
