Pros

For £30 a panel i've had an 8 degree increase today. The only downside is that it has not been sunny for more than the odd half day. Brought one of these to add to a hot tub shell that had been turned into a splasher pool for kids. Difference of about...  Read More

The mat is high quality, especially the connections and flow diverter. Allows you to pass through at higher volumes/speeds which is critical when you want to prioritise filtering the water over heating. Seems to cope with the 90watt pump.

Now with the nice weather i’m getting 09:00 temp of 22oc to 29oc by 15:00.

Seems to cope with the 90watt pump.

Used in conjunction with the 'bubble wrap' style pool cover.

Connections seals could be better also the clamps have to be tighten to the max

Provided you lie the mats flat carefully at the point the connectors attach and clamp them carefully with the clamps provided then the connections wont leak at all

As soon as the sun has gone inshade bypass them or turn the pump off else they’ll turn into radiators and you’ll chill the pool

However our summers are not consistent enough to maintain a warm pool so cant rate the product for that
