Holes allow the bubbles to nicely simulate jet action. Each nozzle you attach has a seal.

Cons

The spas are heavenly right up until the cheapest party of the unit breaks. As soon as it got a little cold (under 65 degrees) the heater no longer stays anywhere near 104. The other times we try to use it, we check the temp and it’s shut itself off.
