There was a small section near the middle where it got overly philosophical to the point where it was basically bashing you in the face with it but that section was small and not intrusive enough to make me dislike the book

Secondly im not a big fan of books where the main character is clearly overpowered and priming themselves to become even more over more overpowered as the series continues
