Pros & Cons
Pros
The folding one is amazing.
It’s huge to cover the massive windshield, but still manageable to assemble and disassemble with a passenger in the front seat. Anyone who owns this car knows the vastness of the windshield.
The sunshade is in a roll and you install it very easily by just unrolling it. This sunscreen works!
A bit pricey but a good fit for the honda fit. It fits perfectly on my honda fit 2010 and is very durable. It's so nice to finally have a shade that fits the large honda fit windshield.
When i take it down the outward facing silver side is hot, but the inner surface is cooler. The dashboard stays relatively cool to the touch, and most importantly the steering wheel.
Cons
This sun shade is pretty cheaply made. It is not stiff enough to maintain contact with wind shield, or stay in place when installed.
Highlights
Quality
Great quality custom fit sun shield for the 2nd gen honda fit (2009-2014)
Both are amazing quality and fit but the rolling up is a huge pain!
I bought it for my 2013 model and it fits fine, so don't be misled by the product title, which when i bought it was described as 2009-2012.
It seems like a quality piece, and shows no signs of wear over it's first few months of use.
Price
This shade's price is comparable to others, but it's one-piece, easy to fold, and comes with a carrying case.
Packaging/appearance
I really like that you can roll it up and stash it under the rear seat, out of the way.
Competitiveness
It's a pretty minor complaint, considering most of the competitor shades don't even come with a case.
