Pros

Installation is easy, though i would recommend an obd2 splitter so the camera doesn't have to be unplugged. Comes with a little tool that will help you tuck the wires in.

The camera resolution is great unless you want pin point clarity. What an upgrade from our * sd cameras. I love the cameras as with all ring cameras they are unbeatable.

Cons

Not only is the product underwhelming, the returning process is a nightmare. Talk about ripping people off. It's absolutely ludicrous that they expect us to pay a subscription for a product that cannot provide the basic function.

It only records after an incident, it is not continuously recording. If a accident happens and you need to look at evidence without a subscription and you cannot, then it defeats the purpose of recording the video. The recordings have a stutter every ... Read More

Ring has yet to upload this particular camera on their list of stolen/vandalized item list. We have a great flat spot on that dash for the camera, but the mount doesn't allow it to be positioned there.

You have to buy a subscription to use but the price is pretty reasonable compared to adding devices to a mobile plan.
