This product feels rushed, inconsistent, and cheap. The quality of the plastic shell is very low. It needs work, and honestly should just be scrapped and re-developed.

Motion detection is stupidly sensitive. The alert you receive is pretty subdued. The motion sensor is covered in plastic.

The ring advertising states batteries last 1 year, and of course there is an asterisk ( * )by that statement. That’s like buying a toaster with a subscription.
