The computer vga controller then defaults to the lowest resolution format it has so your video is low res and ugly.
Price
For the price, this is not an issue though.
I removed one star for this, but for the price, you can't really expect edid support.
Competitiveness
This product replaced a trendnet displayport kvm which i hated so much that i spent the money to replace it.
I made a mistake of trying to buy a cheap product from a noname company, but i had a lot of issues with that product.
